EMERGENCY services closed a road after a van carrying hay caught fire.
The incident took place at Church Lawton, close to the traffic lights on Liverpool Road, at about 2pm on Sunday.
Pumps from Crewe and Sandbach attended and firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
The huge blaze was captured on camera by engineer Richard Morrow who had stopped his car at the traffic lights opposite the fire.
